We are pleased to formally announce the appointment of Edgard Diaz as Chief Executive Officer of the International Association of Clinical Biomechanics. Mr Diaz now steps into the role with full visibility to execute the IACB strategy, with a focus on operational stability and sustainable growth across all key pillars.

“Our mission is simple: deliver measurable value to every member through clear professional pathways, actionable knowledge, and operational excellence.”
— Edgard Diaz, CEO

The core mission of this mandate is Delivering Value to Members. This is achieved by building out our CPD and certification programs (education), organising professional events, and strengthening member communications. This focus ensures that every member benefits from clear, structured professional pathways and actionable knowledge.

To enable this value delivery, immediate focus is placed on Digital Transformation and Governance. This includes implementing robust governance structures and legal frameworks, including working with the board to ensure institutional stability and accountability. Simultaneously, the immediate priority is the deployment of the Association Management Platform. This action resolves the critical CRM/LMS gap in our Digital Ecosystem, enabling automated renewals, engagement tracking, and streamlined program delivery.

Furthermore, Mr Diaz will oversee Revenue, Brand, and Advocacy. This involves implementing robust financial controls, diversifying revenue streams through event profitability, and securing sponsors. This also includes establishing a globally recognised brand and developing targeted marketing and communication campaigns to strengthen the International Association of Clinical Biomechanics influence and advocacy worldwide, especially within regions.

This focused execution and stability ensure that the International Association of Clinical Biomechanics can rapidly scale, delivering on its promise to advance professional standards and provide measurable value to its global membership.
